On the sidelines of the ongoing ‘Defence Seminar - 2013’ Sessions, in response to a request, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake, had a brief interactive meeting with two visiting Iranian delegates, in the company of the Defence Attaché of the Embassy for Iran in Sri Lanka.
Headed by seminar delegate Brigadier General Ali Darabi, Commander Special Forces in Iran, Colonel Ebrahim Rouhani, Defence Attaché and Lieutenant Colonel Shaeam Gholami called on the Commander of the Army at Army Headquarters Wednesday (4) evening.
During their discussion, matters of security interest were taken up for discussion before exchange of mementos took place as tokens of goodwill.
