Daham School Children in Halambewewa Receive Gift Parcels

Chief Engineer ‘Sri Lankan Airlines’, Mr Bisath Nagahawatta and his staff showed their generosity and considerateness towards weekend Daham school children learning at Welimaluwa Temple, Halambewewa, Padaviya and gave away a large stock of stationery after calling at the temple on Sunday (27).

Each packet of those gift items, worth Rs 4.000.00 was distributed among 120 students during the brief ceremony, coordinated by the officers and other ranks of the 622 Brigade and 27 Gajaba Regiment troops of the 62 Division.

Mr Bisath Nagahawaththa, the donor and accompanying representatives, Major General B.H.M.A Wijesinghe, General Officer Commanding, 62 Division, Colonel M.P Karunarathne, Commander, 622 Brigade, other senior officers, other ranks and parents participated in the distribution programme.
