Cultural troupes of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and Civil Security Department joined hands together to stage this spectacular cultural show which was also staged last year on the same lines under the theme, ‘Sanhidiyawe Piyasatahan’.

A two-minute silence in memory of War Heroes, conduct of a procession and the singing of the Ranaviru tribute song set the stage ready for the event after distinguished invitees arrived at the venue.

The glittering show, graced by HE the President as the Chief Guest, was witnessed by Minister Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka, several Ministers, State Minister of Defence, Defence Secretary, Army and Air Force Commanders, Inspector General of Police, Chairperson, Ranaviru Seva Authority and a group of invitees, including disabled War Heroes of tri services, Police and the Civil Security Department.
