CTS-Produced 79 More Junior Instructors Pass Out

79 male and female Junior Instructors who underwent the training courses at the Ampara Combat Training School (CTS) passed out on Thursday (27) after a formal parade at the CTS grounds, Ampara.

Major General Shantha Dissanayake, Commandant, CTS as the Chief Guest for the certificate awarding ceremony gave away certificates of proficiency to all course attendees.

During the ceremony, 73 male Junior Instructors under the Course No - 86 and 6 female Junior Instructors under the Course No - 36 received their certificates and awards.

The award for the First in Order of Merits in the Course No - 86 (male) went to Corporal J.G.U.Y Gunathilaka while Corporal M.M Amaradasa and Bombardier R.P.N.S Gunaratne were adjudged as second and third runners-up in the course.

The award for the First in Order of Merit in the Junior Instructor Course 36 (Female) went to Lance Corporal Y.A.I.W Ranasinghe and second and third places were secured by Lance Corporal G.L Kalyani and Lance Corporal J.J.G Rathnalatha respectively.

The Commanding Officer, Chief Instructor, Senior Instructor, Instructors, Senior Officers and the permanent staff of the CTS participated in the awarding ceremony.
