CTS Ampara Puts Up Its Own Herbal Garden

All staffers, instructors and trainees at the Combat Training School (CTS), Ampara, joined together and put up a new ‘Osu Uyana’ (Herbal Garden) with 100 indigenous species after planting those saplings at the separate section inside the CTS premises on Saturday (22).

The simple planting ceremony in the premises took place in the presence of the CTS Commandant, Major General Shantha Dissanayake. CTS Commanding Officer welcomed the Commandant on arrival at the location.

Senior Non Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and Non Commissioned Officers (NCOs) under training in the ongoing ‘Leadership Development Course No 15’ also joined the planting ceremony.
