Cordial Meeting Seeks Openings for University Courses

Major General Darshana Hettiarachchi, Commander, Security Forces - East (SF-E) with the objective of exploring possibilities for academic openings for officers in the Eastern University met the Vice Chancellor Professor, T Jayasingham on Tuesday (24) at the university premises.

During the meeting with the Vice Chancellor, Major General Hettiarachchi explored possibilities of finding academic slots in different diploma courses and other undergraduate courses for Army personnel in the Security Force Headquarters – East (SFHQ-E).

General Officer Commanding (GOC) 23 Division and Commander 231 Brigade were associated with the East Commander’s visit.
