Commander Visits Peripheral Company in Petit Goave

'Sharing and Caring', if at all to be a treasured virtue that has been recognized over the centuries, it was none other than the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya who is currently in Haiti who in reality practised and shared those sentiments with his fellow-officers and soldiers serving the UN Peacekeeping Mission in Haiti, MINUSTAH.

After his visits to Leogane UN Peacekeeping Headquarters and Sri Lanka Battalion (SRIBAT), he proceeded to the peripheral SRIBAT Company Headquarters at Petit Goave where he sat together with all SRIBAT officers and other ranks to share a traditional meal of Kiribath and Kevum after he inspected stores, billets and all other facilities in the complex as photos below show.
