The newly-appointed Commander Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) made a formal visit to the 12 Division Headquarters, Hambantota on Monday (24).
Major General P.U.S Vithanage, Commander SFHQ-C, received a Guard Turnout presented by 10 Gemunu Watch troops on arrival at the place.
The visiting SF Commander planted a tree sapling in the 12 Division Headquarters premises to mark his visit.
Security Forces Commander afterwards addressed the troops in the 12 Division. General Officer Commanding Major General G.R.H Dias, Brigade Commanders of 121 and 122 Brigades along with senior officers, officers serving the 12 Division and other ranks were present.
Security Forces Commander sat for a group photograph and enjoyed an all rank tea party that followed later on.
