Commander Chief Guest at SLSC Poson Entertainment

Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army as the Chief Guest together with Mrs Chandrika Senanayake, President, Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) attended the 'Poson Bethigee' (devotional songs) organized by the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) Seva Vanitha Unit on the theme ‘Poson Buddhabhi Wandana’ on Poson Full Moon Poya Day (16) at Sri Bodhirajaramaya Panagoda.

Major General Nilantha Hettiarachchi, Colonel Commandant, SLSC and Chief Signal Officer welcomed the Commander of the Army at the venue together with Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage, Commander, Security Forces - West.

Members of the SLSC Army personnel sang devotional songs and paid their homage to the memory of Arahath Mahinda during the presentation.

At the end of the event Mrs Chandrika Senanayake, President, ASVU presented gifts to the participants for their contribution. Performances followed a group photograph with the Commander of the Army and Mrs Senanayake.
