A project to repair a fleet of condemned tractors of the Security Force Headquarters – Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) got underway under the guidance of Major General P. U. The project was implemated on the directions of Brigadier D. S. A Dehiwatte, Acting Commander, Forward Maintenance Area – Mullaittivu and Brigadier Admin and Quartering (Brigadier AQ).

Most of those tractors had been in use for a long time and require close attention and repairs to valuable parts, like gear box, brake systems, steering system, tinkering, painting, etc, which cost a large sum of money.

Those voltage stabilizers and repaired tractors were tested and handed over to the Divisions and Battalions in Mullaittivu on Wednesday (13) in a ceremony, headed by Commander, SF-MLT.

Commander (SF-MLT), Major General P. U. S Vithanage, 59, 64 and 68 Divisions Commanders, several officers and other ranks attended the launch of the project.
