Collective of Army, Navy & Air Force Officers Meet War Heroes at Ranajayapura

A collective of representatives of Army, Navy and Air Force Directorate of Personnel Administration, Directorate of Army Medical Services, Directorate of Army Legal Service, Directorate of Welfare, Directorate of Veteran Affairs, Directorate of Army Quartering, Directorate of Supply and Transport, Directorate of Movement and Directorate of Army Benevolent Fund, led by Directorate of Veterans Affairs of the Army on Saturday (18) held a mobile workshop in the Ipalogama ‘Ranajayapura’ Housing Scheme in order to provide solutions to their concerns.

The project was meant to learn about pending issues and other shortcomings, if any in the housing scheme where resolution of such issues was made possible on the spot as a result of the mobile arrangement, organized on the guidelines given by the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva.

Ministry of Defence-built ‘Ranajayapura’ Housing Scheme with 1509 houses, built for tri service War Heroes who have contributed to the eradication of terrorism, accommodates more than 1000 soldiers of the Army, Navy and Air Force.

Saturday (18) programme included a mobile counseling service, medical clinic and a face-to-face interview meeting with the residents with the intention of resolving their concerns.

General Officer Commanding, 21 Division and the Brigade Commander, 212 Brigade coordinated the arrangement with the authorities in the Navy and Air Force.
