In order to foster civil-military relations and identify security and economic issues and public constraints, a conference with responsible government employees, senior villagers and the Army, got underway on Friday (03) at the 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry camp in Palinagar, presided by the General Officer Commanding 65 Division, Major General D.M.H.D Bandara.
Divisional Secretary for Manthai East, Medical Officer of Health - Mallavi, Chief Engineer of Electricity Board - Mankulam, Chief Engineer of Irrigation Department - Mankulam and several other relevant government authorities, including civilians in the area were participated in the meeting, where the concerns of the general public were voiced.
