Chinese Delegation Visits SFHQ-West Area

A six-member Chinese delegation, headed by General Li Zuocheng, Commander, Chengdu Military Area, People’s Liberation Army, China, who is on a familiarization tour in Sri Lanka, visited the Regimental Headquarters, Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) at the Army Cantonment, Panagoda on Thursday (15).

The visiting delegation was welcomed by Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe, Colonel Commandant, SLA. Afterwards the delegation visited the SLA War Heroes’ Monument and watched a display of artillery assets.

Afterwards, the delegation visited the Dutch Fort in Galle and the Turtle Hatchery in Hikkaduwa.
