Major General Chrishantha De Silva, Chief of Staff on Friday (14) undertook an administration inspection at Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps (SLAPC) Headquarters at Pelawatta, Battaramulla and spoke to the officers and other ranks, serving there.
A Guard Turnout at the main entrance to the SLAPC Headquarters greeted the visiting Chief of Staff after he was received by SLAPC Commanding Officer.
Later on, the Chief of Staff spoke to the gathering on the importance of logistics and administrative matters in this age of electronic communication and administration.
Respective Directors of the SLAPC afterwards briefed the Chief of Staff on the progress of each SLAPC unit and planned roles and tasks in the future.
