Venerable Ambegoda Pugnarathana thero, Chief Incumbent at Sri Sudharmarama Viharaya in Obadaella, Bandarawela in a letter of appreciation to the Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-C), Major General A.P. De Z Wickramarathne has thanked the Army for assisting a blood donation campaign organized in the area.
Laity of the temple conducted the blood donation programme at Ambegoda Sri Sudharmarama temple premises where Army troops also contributed at the request of the monk.
One officer and 34 other ranks of 7 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) and 2 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) attended the blood donation programme on the instructions of the SF Commander.
The Chief Incumbent at Sri Sudharmarama Viharaya paid his sincere gratitude to the Commander of the Army and the Commander, Security Forces - Central (SF-C) while appreciating the troops for the great job they have done.
