The fourteen-day long English Language Course - 2018 for officers, organized by the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) in coordination with the British Council formally ended on Tuesday (6) with award of certificates to the followers during a ceremony at the SFHQ-Cen.
20 commissioned officers, representing all military formations in the SFHQ-Cen, received proficiency certificates upon completion of English language training.
Adding significance to the day’s programme, course attendees conducted the whole programme in English amid cheers of the audience.
Officers with excellent performance received their certificates and awards from Lieutenant Colonel B.A.S.S.D Bulathgama, Chief Guest at the occasion representing Major General Rukmal Dias, Commander, Security Forces - Central.
Lecturer at the British Council, Ms C.K Mike also joined to give away certificates.
