3 Officers and 50 Other Ranks of the 11 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-Cen) immediately responded to an SOS call and rushed to Balana, Katakumbura and Amunupura areas in Kadugannawa Divisional Secretariat and assisted the removal of fallen trees, branches and other paraphernalia that have affected more than 50 houses in above said areas on Friday (5).
Troops cleared those obstacles and participated in relief activities in cooperation with civilians and other stakeholders.
