Troops of the 2 (V) Sri Lanka Rifle Corps in the 111 Brigade serving under the Security Force Headquarters – Central assisted Sri Katharagama Devalaya, Morape, Kothmale at Gampola to organize its annual Perahera ceremony and the cleaning of the Kovil premises on Friday (30).
On the directions of the Commander, Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) Major General P.U.S Vithanage, the ‘Shramadana Campaign’ was closely supervised by the Commanding officer of the 2 (V) Sri Lanka Rifle Corps.
Other related assistance for conduct of the Perahera was also extended by the troops.
