Central-based Troops Continue with Their Community-Oriented Projects

Troops of the 122 Brigade serving under the Security Force Headquarters- Central (SFHQ-C) coordinated a donation programme, sponsored by the Foundation of Goodness (Guna Jaya Sathuta Padanama) where a total of 109 school children received cash vouchers to purchase shoes and school accessories during a ceremony, held at Kenda Gasmankada Vidyalaya on Monday (21).

Colonel  K. M. R. Abeysinghe, Colonel General Staff Officer of the 12 Division as the chief guest, several senior Army officers, members of the Foundation of Goodness, parents together with their children attend the ceremony.

Meanwhile, troops of the same Brigade launched a ‘Shramadhana’ campaign to clean the Veligatta Veheragala Temple premises on Wednesday (23).

The programme was conducted under the directions of the Commander, 122 Brigade.
