Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetillake with a view to taking stock of development and defence rules in the Wanni visited the Security Forces Headquarters – Wanni (SFHQ-W) on Friday (1).
The visiting CDS was received on arrival by Major General MHSB Perera, Security Force Commander (Wanni) where he was greeted to a Guard Turnout plus a Guard of Honour.
During his stay there, he was enlightened on the roles and tasks that are being pursued in the Wanni before he was invited to inspect two buildings under construction at the premises.
The visiting CDS after discussion gave certain guidelines that can be applied when duties are performed before his departure.
