Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Workshop Trains More Than 400 Army Personnel

Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management at the Colombo Army Hospital conducted its 20th workshop on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on Friday (9).

The workshop gets underway regularly every month since October 2014.The workshop is held in line with the European Resuscitation council guidelines accepted worldwide. 

By now, the CPR workshop has succeeded in training more than 400 Army personnel serving in Army hospitals, UN Peacekeeping missions, nurses and paramedical staff members in all Army medical units, etc. It has so far held 20 such workshops.  

The clinical programme was conducted under the guidance of Major General Sanjeewa Munasinghe, Director General Army Health Services and Colonel Chrishantha De Fernando, Director Army Hospital Colombo.
