Over 180 students in 511 Brigade area at Achelu were to receive gift parcels of school accessories thanks to the generosity of Ven. Ellawala Upathissa Thero, Chief Incumbent of Gonaduwa Dwithwachethiyaramaya in Kalutara who was in Jaffna for four days on tour.
In addition, the monk donated a stock of milk powder packets plus some essentials for distribution among poor families in the area.
The stocks were delivered by the monk to the beneficiaries during a recent brief ceremony at 511 Brigade Headquarters.
