A Bodhi Pooja was organized by the troops of the 17 Corps of Engineer Services (17 CES) of the Security Force Headquarters – Central (SFHQ - C) on Binara Poya Day, Friday (16) to transfer merits on fallen War Heroes and invoke blessings on serving Army personnel.
Ven. Ellewela Sobhitha Thero, a resident monk at Menikkanda Temple delivered a valuable Dhamma sermon during the “Bodhi Pooja Pinkama”, at Bodhi Kanda Maluwa temple in the SFHQ – C premises.
Brigadier N.K Wadugodapitiya, Brigadier, General Staff of SFHQ – C, senior officers, officers, other ranks and civil staff of the SFHQ-C attended the day’s event.
