The Gemunu Watch (RHQ-GW) Regiment Centre recently organized an awareness programme on Social Media Networks at the Regiment lecture hall as per directions of the Colonel of the Regiment, Major General Dampath Fernando.
By responding to the request of the RHQ GW, Major T.D.T Wijesinghe from 12 Sri Lanka Signal Crops (SLSC) conducted the awareness programme.
The workshop discussed, analyzed and recommended preventive measures against Social Media and explored effective ways and ineffective ways. 6 Officers and 220 Other Ranks attended for this event and expressed their gratitude for educating with the updates of ongoing technology.
