AUSTRALIAN High Commissioner for Sri Lanka Ms. Kathy Klugman Tuesday (11) morning paid a courtesy call on Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya at his office in the Army Headquarters, Colombo.
During their meeting, Army Commander briefed the Australian High Commissioner on current security concerns in the country after the defeat of LTTE terrorism. Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya also gave her an account of security operations that led to the defeat of LTTE terrorism.
Ms. Kathy Klugman was the Deputy High Commissioner for Australia in Sri Lanka during the year 1998.
