Defence Attaché of the High Commission of Australia, Captain Jason Sears Monday (14) morning paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva at the Army Headquarters.
During their brief meeting, both of them recalling bonds of goodwill and excellent relations, exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and bilateral importance. Those discussions also centered on the successful completion and outcome of the recent ‘Defence Seminar 2015’, organized by the Sri Lanka Army.
Captain Jason Sears, who had also contributed to the ‘Defence Seminar’ sessions in early September, is the first Defence Attaché from Australian High Commission to serve from Colombo.
Exchange of mementos between the visiting envoy and the Commander of the Army brought the cordial meeting to an end.
