Sri Lanka Army’s Ishan Bandara has won the Men’s 52 kg Boxing quarter final against Lesotho’s Thabo Molefe at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
The Army Boxer, Lance Corporal Ishan Bandara of the Corps of Engineer Services (CES) now enters semi-final rounds, and is assured of a medal whatever the outcome of the semi-finals would be.
As of Wednesday (11) Sri Lanka has won one silver medal and three bronze medals in Commonwealth Games – 2018.
