Sri Lanka Army’s Javelin Thrower, Private H.L.N.D Lekamge of the 4 (V) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC), competing in the ongoing 22nd Asian Athletics Championship in Bhubaneswar, India secured Silver medal in the Javelin Throw (Women) event on Friday (7).
She recorded her personal best performances covering 58.11m.
The 22nd Asian Athletics Championship consists, 42 sporting events (21 for men and 21 for women) in both the track and field.
