Sri Lanka Army Elle players comfortably won Kumarakattuwa Sports Club organized Elle Tournament 2017.
After beating Kumarakattuwa Sports Club Elle Team by an inning and 17 runs during the final match, held at Kumarakattuwa public grounds, Chilaw on Saturday (1).
Sri Lanka Army team scored 23 runs in the first inning and the rivals scored 3 runs in their first innings. The loser scored 3 runs in the second innings.
Lance Corporal P.R Priyanganee was adjudged the Best player in the tournament while, Lance Corporal I.M.G Sandamali, emerged as the Highest scorer in the tournament. The best fielder award was carried away by Lance Corporal M.T.N Manatunga.
A large gathering of fans watched the finals.
