Army Troops Rush to Explosion Sites

Several explosions that ripped off in a few churches in Colombo and elsewhere and three hotels in Colombo prompted Army personnel of the Security Force Headquarters-West and the East to rush to those affected places in order to ensure security and help evacuate the victims to nearby hospitals, reports reaching the Army Headquarters confirmed.

Early reports claimed scores were confirmed dead and some more were admitted to hospitals in Colombo, Colombo South and Batticaloa for emergency treatment.

People are requested to remain calm and not to be misled by false rumours and fabricated stories.

All members of the Security Forces are fully committed to ensure security to all those areas.
