Troops of 11 Division and 1 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) conducted a Shramadana campaign at Sri Rajavalukaramaya temple, Digana during August 11-21.
A total of 30 other ranks serving the 11 Division and the 1 SLRC participated in the Shramadana campaign.
Troops assisted by providing Electricity, Water supply, Masonry, Foods and Building constructions.
In the meantime, the treasures in the newly constructed Buddha statue’s Sri Rajavalukaramaya temple were deposited during the construction period and Army personnel gave their full support to the project.
