Army Taekwondo Players Win Silver & Bronze Medals

Sri Lanka Army Taekwondo players won four Silver Medals and one Bronze Medal under three categories during the recent 7th International Open Taekwondo Championship in Malaysia.

Lieutenant R.B.N Ratnayake of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (Silver Medal), Sergeant H.M.A Karunaratne of 4 Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps (two Silver Medals under two categories), Private R.B.C Ratnayake of 1 Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (Silver Medal) and Sergeant D.S Sayakkara of 8 Gajaba Regiment (Bronze Medal) won medals under those categories.

The tournament was held during 21-26 Aug at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
