Table Tennis Open Intermediate Championship 2013, organized by National Table Tennis Association, held at Mount Lavinia St. Thomas indoor stadium selected Private W.A.S Madushan of Gajaba Regiment (GR) as the Champion. The tournament was held during March 16-17.
Meanwhile, Lance Corporal P.S Netthigamage of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) after competing in the same tournament reached the quarter finals and Private M.M.N Munasinghe of Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) succeeded in entering the second round of the tournament for championship.
