Army Swimmers Do Well in Dharmashoka College Organized Swimming Contest

80 male and 07 female Army swimmers participated in the 2 mile open swimming contest, organized by Ambalangoda Dharmashoka College on Sunday (09).

A total of 26 swimmers representing 16 sports clubs took part in the contest along the Ambalangoda beach.

Army team showed their talents and clinched the 3rd place in the overall championship and Defence Services Championship.

In this contest, Corporal A.B.K.A.S. Maduranga of Gemunu Watch was adjudged as the Best Disable Swimmer in the para swimming event.
