Army Stall at INFOTEL Exhibition Awarded

Sri Lanka Army stall put up by the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) was awarded a certificate of appraisal during the certificate awarding ceremony at the INFOTEL National ICT Exhibition - 2017 at Hilton Colombo Residencies on Saturday (4).

Sri Lanka Signal Corps of the Sri Lanka Army was awarded the Award of the “Stall with the Best Demonstration” at the end of the INFOTEL National ICT Exhibition 2017, held at the BMICH during 2-5 November 2017.

It was highlighted at the ceremony that this Award was granted to the Army due to the stall’s innovative nature and also for attractive demonstrations made by Signallers to the mammoth gathering who witnessed the exhibition until the final day.

Army Demonstrations presented for the GPS Tracking System, Software Define Radio System, Software Define Network System, Weapon Simulator, LiFi System, Radio Relay Network (Sri Lanka Army, Communication Vehicle (C4I Vehicle), Inter Operable Radio Interface, etc attracted the public during the exhibition .

The Exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure, together with the Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITISL) who are the voices of the Sri Lankan "ICT" industries.

Secretary to the Ministry of Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure, Mr. Wasantha Deshapriya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest in the prize awarding ceremony.
