Beating ‘Expo Lanka,’ woman Netball players of the Army Sports Club emerged champions in the annual Netball Championship, organized by the Western Province Netball Association.
Army players scored 72 points against 58 of their rivals, ‘Expo Lanka’in the final tussle, played recently at Sri Lanka Air Force grounds in Colombo. Private Tharuka Ashrini of the Army received the award as the Best Player of the tournament.
