Troops belonging to 19 Gajaba Regiment and 2 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) extended their support for renovation of wards at the Primary Medical Care unit at the Wannerikulam base hospital, a suburb of Kilinochchi and handed them back to the medical authorities on Saturday (28).
In response to a request made by medical authorities seeking Army assistance for renovation of the few wards in this hospital, Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana, Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi dispatched those troops to support the project.
