The National Karate Championship - 2017 organized by the Karate Federation of Sri Lanka was held during 29-30 October 2017 at the Sugathadasa Indore Stadium, Colombo.
Sri Lanka Army Karate players bagged four (4) gold medals, three (3) Silver medals and twelve (12) bronze medals in the Men’s category in the Championship.
Meanwhile, Woman Karate players of the Army SC won three (3) gold medals, two (2) silver medals and six (6) bronze medals respectively.
The winners were selected to represent the National Karate Pool.
