Army Sports Club beat ‘Old Moratu Vidyalians’ Club by innings and 4 runs in the under 23 Division II Cricket Tournament, conducted by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) at the Army Cricket Grounds, Panagoda during 5-6 September.
During the match, excellent performances were shown by Private D.A. Randika scoring 130 runs and Trooper A.Y.R. De Silva with 76 runs in the 1
st Innings. Meanwhile, Private D.D.A. De Soysa took 6 wickets in the match.
Army cricketers will play the next match against Wennappuwa SC during 12-13 Sep at the Army Cricket Grounds, Panagoda.
