Army Sports Club beat North and East Cricket Club by innings and 104 runs in the under 23 Division II Cricket Tournament, conducted by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) at the Army Cricket Grounds, Panagoda during 22-23 August.
During the match, excellent performances were shown by Army Skipper Lance Bombardier L.K. Francisco scoring 109 runs and Private H.D.S. Ridma scoring 50 runs in the 1st Innings. Meanwhile, Private D.D.A. De Soysa took 9 wickets in the match.
Army cricketers will play the next match against Old Anandian SC during 29-30 August at Army Cricket Grounds, Panagoda.
