Army Cricketers Thrash Chilaw MCC by 68 Runs in Premier League Cricket Match

Sri Lanka Army cricketers beat Chilaw MCC by 68 runs in the Premier League Cricket Tournament, organized by Sri Lanka Cricket Association, played at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (RPICS), Colombo on Sunday (8).

Excellent performances, displayed by Corporal H.H.M De Zoysa collected 89 runs while the national cricketer, Staff Sergeant Seekkuge Prasanna led the match bagging 7 wickets and scoring 66 in 2nd innings to go for the victory over Chilaw MCC.

Sri Lanka Army cricket team collected 136 runs while the Chilaw MCC team claimed 122 runs in the 1^st Innings and the Army collected 253 runs while Chilaw MCC team scored 199 in the 2^nd Innings.

The Army Cricket Team will play the next match against Saracens SC Cricket Team during Feb 13-15 at Army Grounds, Panagoda.
