Army Cricket Team Emerges Runner-up

Sri Lanka Army Cricket team clinched the Runner-up slot in the recent Premier League Tier A & B Tournament 2010-11 after playing for the final Tier - B against Moors Sports Club.

The tournament organized by Sri Lanka Cricket was competed by 21 renowned teams both in the service sector and the civil sector.

Army team Captain Prasanna Sekkuge was adjudged the second highest wicket taking bowler in the tournament with the best average. Moors Sports Club clinched the Championship Trophy in the Tier – B category.
