Army Cricket Team Beats Air Force Rivals

The Army cricket team, playing in the one day premier league tournament on Tuesday (11) scored a record 6 wicket victory against Sri Lanka Air Force Sports team during the Army’s second match during the tournament.

Played at Panagoda Army grounds on Tuesday (11), the tournament was organized by the Sri Lanka Cricket and Army Cricket committee. In 34.2 overs, the Army team collected 147 runs against 4 wickets. Sergeant S. Prasanna and Corporal H.H.M De Zoysa bagged 57 and 53 runs respectively.
