Army Cricket Scorers Undergo Two-Day Training


Sri Lanka Army Cricket Committee, intending to improve scoring competence of 30 selected cricket scorers in the Army conducted a training workshop with practical and written sessions during October 15-16 at Panagoda Cricket Stadium.

The Committee, headed by Chaminda De Silva, President, Sri Lanka Cricket Scorers Committee with five other members assisted the training sessions during both days. The final test was held at the end of the second day.

Those who would pass the above test are eligible for the examination to be conducted in 2015. Those who excel in that examination, would be registered as permanent scorers of the Sri Lanka Cricket Scorers Committee.

At the same time, they would be formally appointed as Scorers of the Sri Lanka Army Cricket Committee and recommended for additional training programmes & seminars with the intention of further expanding their professional abilities.
