Troops serving the 211 Brigade under the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) with the financial support of Cosmopolitan 306/A2 Lions Club, Colombo 6, distributed 90 pairs of spectacles worth about Rs 225,000/= among villagers in Pulithirikthapuliyankulam and 400 Acres LB village of Vavuniya. The distribution took place at Pulithirikthapuliyankulam Vidyalaya and Periyaulukkulam 400 Acres Dharmapala Vidyalaya on 28 Sept.
The programmes were organized under the guidance of Major General M.H.S.B Perera, Commander, SFHQ-W. Civil coordination officers and senior officers attended the occasion.
