Army Commander in Seoul Meets US Army Chief of Staff & Pacific Command

Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army, currently in Seoul, South Korea attending the Pacific Army Chiefs’ Conference (PACC) sessions had a cordial interaction with General Mark A. Milley, Chief of Staff of the Army, United States of America on Wednesday (20) on the sidelines of ongoing four-day sessions of the Conference.

The US Army Chief during the meet extended greetings to Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake and shared a few thoughts with the latter of relevance and past battle experiences.

General Mark A. Milley assumed duties as the 39th Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army on 14 August 2015.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of the Army, attending the Pacific Army Chiefs’ Conference (PACC) sessions on Tuesday (19) called on General Robert Brooks Brown, Commanding General of the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) on the sidelines of ongoing four-day sessions.

During the cordial meeting that ensued, both of them exchanged views on several matters of bilateral importance and interest including past war experiences.

General Robert Brooks Brown is a four star General of the United States Army who took reins as Commander of the United States Army Pacific on April 30, 2016 shortly after he was formally promoted to the rank of a four star General.
