Army swimmers participated in the 44th Open Water 2 Mile Sea Swimming Championship - 2017, organized by the Ambalangoda Dharmashoka College on Sunday (12).
A total of 360 swimmers representing 30sports clubs and schools took part in the contest along the Ambalangoda beach.
Army team showed their talents and clinched the overall championship in the Men’s category.
In this contest, Lance Corporal A.M.A.S. Abeysinghe of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps achieved the third place in the contest.
