THE Army’s training sessions are in now full swing after the successful completion of Wanni humanitarian operations and the War that dragged on for more than 30 years.
The newly-established Mullaittivu Security Forces Headquarters, SFHQ (MLT) has facilitated Task Force II, the Army camp at Oddusudan to begin the Advanced Infantry Platoon Training (AIPT) Course once again for all formations under SFHQ (MLT).
The training for the 2nd batch of 884 in 26 platoons commenced their AIPT training on Tuesday (1) in the presence of Major General Nandana Udawatta, Commander, SFHQ (MLT) at AIPT school, Muthiyankaddu. All formation Commanders under SFHQ (MLT), Brigade Commanders and Commanding Offices of training platoons participated in the inaugural ceremony.
