Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) cricketers outplayed Sri Lanka Ordnance Cops (SLAOC) counterparts during the finals in the recent Sri Lanka Army Inter-Regiment Cricket Tournament, played at Panagoda Muthukumaru grounds.
SLAOC team after opening the batting managed to survive only during 25 overs, out of allotted 50 before being bowled out the team for 81 runs. In reply, SLAC cricketers crossed the winning target against loss of only three wickets towards the end of the 31st over.
Trooper W.A.K. Madusanka of SLAC was adjudged Man of the Series.

SLAC – 85 for 3 in 31 overs.
