CONTRARY to some wrong media reports, members of the Security Forces continue to possess their free bus travel pass, a perk that has been offered exclusively to them and the Police, the Army Headquarters announced.
The Army has neither withdrawn nor cancelled the bus pass that has been issued to its soldiers and officers including disabled ones as stated in those fabricated and false reports. In fact, travel facilities to Army personnel on the contrary have been increased effective from January 1st with the re-launch of the liberty bus service for provincial destinations.
